Cooperative Building Solutions completed design and construction of a new district office facility for Southern Pioneer Electric Cooperative. Formed in 2005, Southern Pioneer Electric Cooperative serves approximately 17,000 consumers located in 34 communities and operates 1,100 miles of distribution and transmission line and other facilities in ten southwest and south-central Kansas counties. 

The scope of the project included the construction of a new office, vehicle storage facility, and warehouse. The building features a combination of brick and metal panel facades, offering both durability and aesthetic appeal. The project also incorporated advanced geothermal HVAC systems to promote energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, the development included the site preparation and construction across 9 acres, ensuring the necessary infrastructure and space to support the facility’s operations.
