Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new expansion on Wake Electric Membership Corporation’s existing site to improve operational needs. Founded in 1940, Wake EMC provides electric service to approximately 47,000 members in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance, and Wake counties.

The project scope encompassed an office renovation, new warehouse, enclosed vehicle storage, covered material storage, maintenance building, covered material building, covered truck and material storage, and yard expansion at the existing property in Youngsville. This project gave Wake EMC additional space for efficient operations and future growth opportunities.
