Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new headquarter facility for Tri-County Electric Cooperative in Lancaster, Missouri. Incorporated in 1938, Tri-County Electric now provides over 6,500 meters with service to homes and business through 1,830 miles of distribution line.

This project was completed on 15 acres, improving access to the facility for the members, as well as the line crews. Operational efficiencies were also implemented by centralizing all of the functions of the facility at a single location compared to being previously located in four separate buildings divided by city streets. A pre-engineered metal building system was utilized for reducing the initial cost of the building structure, while a ground source mechanical system reduced operational cost and energy use.
