Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new Headquarters facility for Midwest Energy & Communications in Cassopolis, Michigan. Established in 1937, Midwest Energy & Communications provides electric, internet, phone, and/or propane to over 80,500 consumers in select areas in Michigan, northern Indiana, and northwest Ohio.

This project consisted of a two story tilt-up office building headquarters, a one-story warehouse, vehicle storage, material storage, and maintenance building, built on over 30 acres. The office is designed with an open floor plan, to support the culture of Midwest Energy, to provide a collaborative atmosphere. A 6,000 square foot data center was constructed out of concrete walls and a hardened construction frame.
