28,000 SQUARE FEET
Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new district office for Jackson Electric Cooperative in Bay City, Texas. Organized in 1939, Jackson Electric provides dependable electric and subsidiary services to over 17,000 members.
The facility consists of a tilt-up concrete office structure, pre-engineered metal vehicle storage, and warehouse buildings. The office contains a hardened construction area surrounding the critical operations space within the building. A future unfinished space is included to account for the internet sales business that Jackson Electric is planning to expand. The facility falls within hurricane zones and has been designed to exceed Miami Dade requirements including foundations, roofing, and hurricane resistant windows. The facility is supported by high efficient HVAC equipment and LED lighting.
