Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new Corporate Office for Medina Electric Cooperative in Rio Grande City, Texas. Founded in 1938, Medina Electric Cooperative services over 35,000 members.

The new facility consists of a new office building, warehouse, vehicle storage building, and a covered parking structure. The entire structure was designed as a pre-engineered metal building, including brick and metal panel façade. The facility utilizes LED lighting throughout, rainwater collection for irrigation, and other high-efficiency design concepts. A hardened space was constructed to protect sensitive IT servers and infrastructure. The new secure site is now surrounded by an 8 foot-tall concrete fence along with access control throughout the facility.
