MEDINA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE

Cooperative Building Solutions constructed a new 4,500 square foot operations facility to house Medina Electric Cooperative’s dispatch center located inside the ICC 500 storm shelter within the building. Founded in 1938, Medina Electric Cooperative services over 35,000 members.

The facility is built on a raised foundation and slab in order to be out of the flood plain. In addition to the construction, a renovation was completed on the existing office boardroom to enhance functionality and modernize the space. Both projects were meticulously coordinated and executed on an active campus, carefully scheduling work to avoid disrupting Medina’s daily operations.
