Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new Headquarters facility for Karnes Electric Cooperative in Karnes City, Texas. Karnes Electric services over 14,000 members in 12 South Texas and Coastal Bend counties located between San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas.

The project includes a new office, warehouse/vehicle storage, and a maintenance building. The office building features independent offices, collaborative spaces, locker rooms, conference rooms, and a community room. It also houses an ICC 500 storm shelter with a dispatch room, server/telecommunications room, and war room. The warehouse and vehicle storage are pre-engineered metal buildings with a 100-ft wide clear span. The maintenance facility has six vehicle bays, an overhead crane, and energy-efficient designs in its structure, lighting, and HVAC equipment.
