Cooperative Building Solutions completed construction of a new Operations Building for Indian Electric Cooperative in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Founded in 1939, Indian Electric Cooperative supplies electric service to its members in seven north-central and northeastern Oklahoma counties. IEC provides almost 14,000 members with service to 20,080 homes and businesses through 3,516 miles of distribution line covering a service territory of 2,500 square miles.
The project scope included a new warehouse, vehicle storage building, and a lineman area for the cooperative. These additions improve storage capacity, fleet organization, and support the operational and training needs of the linemen. Together, these additions enhance the cooperative's efficiency and ability to serve its community.
