DIXIE POWER

11,500 SQUARE FEET
Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new District Office center on the existing campus for Dixie Power in St. George, Utah. Established in 1946, Dixie Power services approximately 30,000 meters in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.
This project required the existing building to be demolished and called for a temporary relocation of administrative personnel to an adjacent building. Daily coordination with the cooperative’s operations, member access, and safety was a priority during construction. Energy efficient design concepts were utilized throughout all aspects of the project. The building contains a brick and EIFS façade, TPO roof, and a structural steel frame. In addition to the new District Office, a new Engineering and Operations office was developed at a separate location across town.
