Cooperative Building Solutions designed and constructed a new Member Services Center for Berkeley Electric Cooperative in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Berkeley Electric Cooperative has grown into a state-of-the-art electric utility serving over 108,000 member accounts in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties with over 6,400 miles of line connecting them. This makes Berkeley Electric Cooperative the largest electric cooperative in South Carolina, and one of the top 25 in the nation.

The expansion was designed to improve member engagement, providing a modern, welcoming space for interactions. Alongside the addition, the cooperative's existing member services support area was renovated to feature a more open-concept office layout, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Additionally, the project included the development of a new break area for employees, offering a comfortable space for relaxation and fostering employee well-being. The overall design enhances both member and employee experiences while improving operational efficiency.
